Welcome to Kindergarten!

Dear Kindergarten Families,

We are very excited to be partners in your child’s education! We are looking forward to a year filled with learning and fun.

Our kindergarten classes will begin the year focusing on routines as well as letters, sounds, and numbers. As the year progresses, we will introduce writing, reading, science, addition, and subtraction.

Kindergarten is a time to build social skills too. Students will have many opportunities to work in small groups to exchange ideas and to learn from their peers. We understand that for many students this will be their first school experience. We will work to make the transition as smooth as possible for you and your child.
