Two Randolph High School music students were accepted to the South Eastern Massachusetts Music Educators Association Senior District Music Festival.

On Saturday, November 19th, four RHS music students auditioned for the 2023 SEMMEA Music Festival. Students performed scales, solo literature and sight-reading passages for adjudicators. The RPS music department is proud to announce that two RHS students were selected to participate in this year’s winter festival. On January 6th and 7th, selected students will be able to take part in the two day Senior Districts Festival, ending in a concert featuring skilled high school musicians from South Eastern Massachusetts.

In addition, AnDinh Tran scored in the top 50% of all accepted flute students and has been invited to audition for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association All State Music Festival. If qualified, students who are accepted into the All State Festival will perform at Symphony Hall in March of 2023. We have not had students recommended for All State auditions since 2015!

Congratulations to all of our students who auditioned this past weekend.
