Superintendent Search  

The Randolph School Committee is conducting a search for an Interim Superintendent for the Randolph Public Schools for the 2018-2019 school year (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019).

The Human Resources Department is supporting the School Committee in facilitating the candidate recruitment and screening process. 

During the upcoming school year, the School Committee will conduct a search for a long-term Superintendent, for a tenure beginning July 1, 2019. Details about that process will be shared with the community in the coming months.

Process and Timeframe for Interim Superintendent:

  1. Application period closes Friday, May 18, 2018.
  2. An Interview Team comprised of staff, parents, and community members conducts preliminary interviews on May 23rd between 12pm and 6pm.
  3. Interview Team recommends a group of semi-finalists to the School Committee screening sub-committee on May 24th. 
  4. School Committee screening sub-committee selects up to three finalists.
  5. Finalists participate in public interviews at School Committee meeting on May 31st starting at 7pm.
  6. School Committee votes to select an Interim Superintendent on June 7, 2018. 
  7. Interim Superintendent begins July 1, 2018 (or an earlier date for transition if possible)
